(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Recommended Posts

He's got an open door here too and if he comes here we'll be damn good and he'll have just as much opportunity to showcase for the NBA.

I'm in agreement with you on this, Hoops. The way I see it, TB has an opportunity at IU that would or could showcase his skills. HE would be The Man in the middle with great perimeter support. Thomas, you'd be a rock star ! What's not to like?

"While Bryant has reportedly always been intrigued by playing for a blueblood program like Kentucky or Kansas, and has longstanding ties to Syracuse, Missouri and Indiana appear to be viable options as well."

Welp, that does it, we aren't a Bluelood program. Riddle solved. Haha

Seems as time goes by the only ones who think we're blue bloods are us old gray hairs or blue-hairs if the case may be.

In a far far away place a very long long time ago there was this dynasty and in this dynasty there lived this powerful wizard..........

Indiana is one of only three schools to have NCAA titles in four different decades.  That sounds pretty blue blood to me.

I agree but 1987 doesn't mean Shinola to a kid born in 1997 as evidenced in that remark.

.Kind of a what have you done for me lately thing.

The longer this drought goes the stronger that perception gets.

Well then those darn kids need to go to school!  Learn about reality.

Really though, I understand.  I just think the fact that only IU, UK, UNC have won titles in four different decades shows the kind of sustained success that creates bluebloods.

I agree with you but we're fans and that stuff really doesn't mean much to these kids.

Its a society based on instant gratification and self absorption for the most part.

History's boring to many of them.
