shortspacequickness Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 The coach connection should have you more worried Nope. Mizzou sucks; IU is a perfect fit for what he wants. Have to wait until April. The month, not the player leaving. ALASKA HOOSIER and bleedhoosier 2 Quote

shortspacequickness Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 we were asking that about Hanner and others a few years ago. Slow development and little to no playing to get experience Hard to put him in a game over Cody Zeller I'd imagine... I don't think there's necessarily a conspiracy here against big guys; if you can play, you get on the court here. Doesn't matter what class you are in. Honestly I think Hanner would be best for a couple 4-5 minute spurts per game. IU has got to land Thomas Bryant. It's very sad that Hanner doesn't see the opportunity that's in front of him. All lip service. He could save his family. Quote

I agree with most of what you said but please don't twists things, I wasn't suggesting he play over Zeller, just like I am not suggesting April play over Hartman, but there are a lot of minutes in a game, situational, foul trouble, Rest needed, blowouts. April should see a few minutes here and there ccgeneral 1 Quote

April should see a few minutes here and there I wasn't addressing you specifically. No worries! I know that isn't what you meant; just stating that there weren't many minutes for Hanner especially after missing the first 9 games where he could have played a ton in blowouts. As for April, I'd much rather play Priller as he has something to offer. Burton and Richie would be better than April. They at least compete. It's significant he hasn't played; in his mind I'm sure he knows he isn't cut out for this level. bleedhoosier 1 Quote
bnkepner Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 These articles say it's us or Mizzou? No Syracuse or UK? This particle article doesn't. But about a month ago I posted an article on here that said it was pretty much down to Mizzou and IU even though UK had entered the picture. Syracuse doesn't have much room for him. Their scholarship situation is as bad as ours. Plus the will have two returning starting bigs next year Quote

AKHoosier Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Eric Bossi just said he thinks it's between Missouri and UK based off of what he's been hearing. Quote
Uwe Robb Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Priller did. April really must be lazy. He hasn't sniffed the court in 2 months. Greater minds than mine may know the answer if April was to not play another minute the rest of the year would he be eligible for a redshirt? This is one of my many theories. Crean already knows he will be gone next year so he is doing him a favor by securing him another year of playing time at a different school? Too crazy? Quote
