LamarCheeks Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 I take that back. Upon further review, shot was too late. Gophers and Gottliebs going to OT. Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 Minnesota misses 3 of 4 FTs in the last 10 seconds to keep it a one possession game. Green Bay ties it up with a right hand, right foot layup, only for Minnesota to drain one at the buzzer from beyond half court.... But that's all it was: AT the buzzer, not before. Release was not in time. On to OT for Minnesota to save face against the Fighting Gottliebs. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

Will we take care of business against a bad team on the road, or will we be subjected to the usual excuse-making about how it's so hard to win on the road in the Big Ten, with heaping praise for Minnesota's roster full of nobodies, and how it was only a matter of time before everything came together for them? (Apologies for the rant. My IU basketball PTSD kicks in at weird moments.) It can’t be any single game because lots of good coaches have lost up there. With that said…for me it’s at Wisconsin. lol (I’m fine with forgiving and forgetting past coaches, but the lead Woody blew up there will haunt me for a long time). Quote

Particularly liked him trying to body Thornton who outweighs him by 50lbs to create space to get off a shot. johnsoniu, thebigweave and Home Jersey 3 Quote

Outside of that, not impressive. Yet the B1G is winning many of their P5 nonCon games. BGleas, MemphisHoosier and Home Jersey 3 Quote

Hes an impact maker but he’s limited. No chance he’s 1 n done. Hes a willing passer but he doesn’t have a perfect position. High, high potential if he becomes a shooter. But become a shooter all of the sudden isn’t a guarentee. Home Jersey 1 Quote

Haven’t seen every B1G team enough yet to be super confident in an opinion, but what I have seen, after PU, Illinois and Michigan I’m not sure anyone else is just straight up objectively better than IU. They’re a fair bit more cohesive than UCLA, Washington or MSU. Kudos to DDV on that front. Pagoda, Rico and thebigweave 3 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Channel surfing and found Georgia-FAMU. Did not realize Charlie Ward was coaching the Rattlers. They're 0-3 and losing by 23. Guessing that as a basketball coach, he's a damn good quarterback. Wonder if the football and hoops programs had to fight over him! LIHoosier 1 Quote
