Tyon Grant-Foster loses his NCAA appeal for eligibility to play for Gonzaga this year. I’m sure he’ll sue and based on the Pavia stuff I’m sure he’ll win, but this is absurd. He graduated from high school in 2018. He’d be playing tournament games next year at 26. For all the problems with college sports at the moment nothing pi$$es me off worse than this. There are no circumstances, none, in which a 26yo man should  be playing 18 year olds. Ridiculous. And should that happen in football it could absolutely be dangerous.

Egos. It’s all about egos. He cannot compete at the next level, so just keep on at the current level.

I could go on, but don’t want to get myself banned. I like it here.

It’s insane. I get he lost a couple of seasons to health stuff and that’s a shame. But not everything can be equalized. Sometimes you just lose out and that sucks. And if it means you end up playing in the Latvian B League instead Sweet 16, then that’s how that goes. Chad Baker-Mazara is something like 3 months older than Grant-Foster and playing at USC this year. That should be impossible.

Only an exhibition but Penn St looks like they are going to struggle this year

Yeah…I agree.  Not very talented.  JMHO

Wouldn't mind if we dropped a dozen or so triples on PSU and stuffed them in a trash can this year. One of my biggest pet peeves with this program in recent memory has been letting un-talented PSU teams push us around, get chippy with us, hang around and even beat us.

Like Rutgers...

On a basketball level, I'm glad the Trees have an assistant with head coaching experience to lead the group. I'm guessing Graves will be laid up for a long time, but I have no idea what that recovery is like. Really scary situation there.
