Maybe I’m crazy, but I’ve seen a sizable gap between Banchero and Holmgren all year. Banchero could go be a legit NBA player tomorrow night.

Man, I'm glad to see someone say that.  I know Holmgren is 7' tall, has good maybe great ball skills and can shoot from the perimeter, but the media folks talk like he's the greatest draft pick EVER.  Yeah, he's going to get drafted, but he's not going to play much right away.  Not with his body.  JMHO

Sickening dilemma, because it will also likely hand PureDoo their 1st number 1 ranking.

It wouldn't be their first, right?  I could swear they were #1 before.

Let 'em have it.  It would be awesome to beat them that way

Oh, it would. Their fans are frothing at the mouth over it online.

Move over, moon landing. Purdue basketball might be #1 on November 29th!

Hahaha what a sad pathetic program.  Funny that they laugh at our NCAA championship banners but celebrate a high ranking and a big drum.

I know a lot are pulling for Duke but not me.   Actually fun to see Duke being on the court and getting hosed by some calls.   Personally I guess I don’t care who wins it. This is a high level basketball that is awesome despite who wins.    Someone will get the Zags down the road in the regular season in my opinion.

Illinois beats UT Rio Grande Valley 94-85.....hit 6/6 from the line in the last minute and a half after leading 88-85.

Not the performance you want, regardless of the players out.  Arizona beat UT Rio Grande Valley by 54.

I’m in Texas. UT RGV is a small hole in the wall in the Valley, not even remotely a basketball school (the Valley is about soccer), Illinois, missing players or not, is just not very good.

Yeah they fell 14 spots on Bart torvik with that win.  That’s how bad that team they were playing is

Amile Jefferson is still at Duke for those keeping track at home. Now the Director of Player Development. Pretty sure he was on the Greg Paulus teams.

So if Gonzaga loses, what are the chances the Toiletmakers are ranked No. 1 next week?

Or would the Dookies jump all the way to the top?

Duke would have a good case, but I think most of the voters would give it to Purdue. Duke has been ranked #1 too often.
