And some thought he’d make a good NBA player. This is who he is. He doesn’t have B1G refs while he elbows and bodies college players now. Now he’s playing against pros - men, and now he’ll actually get officiated. Can’t wait to see him try to defend Wemby, Giannis, Joker, et al.

The good and bad so far:

Getting 18 mpg, averaging 9 points and just under 6 rebounds.  That's not too bad.

The bad:  still has a high foul rate and 129 minutes of play has blocked exactly 3 shots.  Have to think he's getting abused on the PNR.

And shooting 58%. He's also not been the Grizzlies worst starter. That goes to Marcus Smart, who has now been out a few games but had been absolutely terrible.

It’s that time of year again.  Christmas morning for me.   The beginning of a new college basketball season is almost here.   To the new posters feel free to stop in and post in this thread anytime.  There will always be a hoops junkie  in here watching and posting.  To the lurkers who don’t post jump on in here and post.   To the veteran poster who make this thread awesome I can’t wait to experience the buzzer beaters and great games that we are in store for.   Just a heads up this thread won’t turn into a pissing contest between Woody haters and Woody defenders.  This thread runs smooth if IU is rolling and runs smooth if IU stinks up the court.   You got other threads to post that stuff in. It won’t last long in this one.

Feels good to post this

Texas at Ohio State is a really solid watch; curious about the two OSU bigs - that's got my big screen covered and is before my bedtime. Good stuff for night one.

I know it’s a painful subject around these parts, but really looking forward to the dawn of the Josh Schertz era at SLU. Getting to see them live against LMU in a couple of weeks.

Got a good one on YouTube.  Field of 68 showcase.   S Illinois up 1 on Charleston at the under 16 timeout in the second half

I still can’t get my mind around Chris Mack at C of C.

First one of the year.   Let’s have a good year.

Santa Clara up 4 with 11:15 to go

I should have asked before, but the photo is fascinating.

Where does mission control commander Usps sit for maximum viewing? Does the commander's chair swivel? Otherwise, it appears that the front row limits visibility of two of the five screens.

And, is mission control padlocked or is access limited or forbidden during game watching, and if so, how does sustenance enter mission control?

Couple things, both re: your main screen...

1) The Fo68 commercial with Dauster is about to send me over the edge.

2) I told myself watching SLU wouldn't hurt. It hurts. Bad. Need our boys to come out hot tonight against Stu's squad.

A view from the front to back.  I sit in the spot right under the projector.  From that spot I can see them all real nice.  It’s also the prime spot to watch movies with the surround sound.  I sat up all the surround for that spot.    Door is never locked and kids can come and go as they please.  Usually they are doing their own stuff upstairs.    We recently hung 3 of the 4 TVs just go to figure out which tv mount to use for the other one.   There is a window right there
