Ehh we lost by 30 to a program many people can't point to on a map.

Really? Wish someone would’ve mentioned something.

The amount of credence I give to the basketball opinions of people who don’t know about St. Mary’s is exactly zero.

That's a general amount of Indiana Basketball fans. most are casual followers which is totally fine. Just speaking the truth!

Celebrating the failures of other teams to drown out the inability of our program sums up most of our recent history. It would have been nice to have had a win or two in the NCAAs AND for puke to fall flat on their face. Instead we had to challenge them for turd laying in the first round. At least our cheerleaders got the ball from the top of the goal!

I will ALWAYS be glad to see pUKe get beat.  IU's performance is irrelevant to that equation; it would just be better if we didn't crap our khakis so badly.

Ditto! They can't lose enough! Although, as we've aged my puke friends have actually cheered for IU in some games. It's probably more of not seeing us as a threat as an elite of college basketball. It's just comical to "justify" a loss because another team lost too.

You lost to a 15 seed, only the 10th (?) time in history that's happened!

You got your doors blown off for your worst loss in NCAA history!

We're both losers...

IU had a win in the NCAAs.   B1G received a nice unit for that win.

I get it. Difference of opinion. I think it's pretty cool for low mid-majors to have a better chance of wins in the tourney.

We made it to the first round of the NCAA and didn't advance from there. It's like we made the Monday qualifier on the PGA tour then had to withdraw after Thursday's first round.

Dude.....last night really sucked. But I think it's time to maybe have a banana and go sit outside for a while.

Thank you, I actually did both this morning. Pretty nice weather and beautiful sky this morning. What did you disagree with in the PGA reference? It does lack a little in that our qualifier was on a Tuesday and the PGA is on a Monday.

It’s like iu made a field of 68 tournament and in the history books got credited with its 40th ncaa tournament appearance and credited with its 66th win in the tournament.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion though so if you are anyone else doesn’t want to acknowledge the win even though the record books does that’s people choice

Absolutely! We earned the right to play in Portland in the first round (Monday qualifier in PGA terms) and then laid an egg (withdrawing after Thurday's round in PGA terms). I think it's cool they expanded the tourney to 68 teams and gives the little schools a chance to get NCAA tourney wins. I hold IU to a little higher standard and it's more than okay people view this differently. It's great that the record book shows we won a first four game and the Big 1.o got a little money for it.

Heck, in 10 years there might be another round or the first four might expand to first 16. That would be really cool for smaller schools to get more chances at wins. I'd like to see us back to consistently COMPETING for Big 1.o titles (regular and tourney) while making deep runs in the tourney. It's cool to see us back in the tourney but that should be a minimum for this program.
