I agree.

They don’t deserve to be in tourney and some have them out at this point.

In spite of that Kenpom has them 38th, Torvik 42nd and they are favored in 7/8 last games. I won’t be surprised if they go on a “run”, against mediocre teams, and slide in.

A couple questions for you.  I’m not a bracketologist because I simply don’t have time for the type of analysis that you and the others do.  I will say, though, that my computer formula is pretty spot to what you all have except for a couple teams.  The first is UConn—I have them barely in while most have them in the 6-8 seed range.  The other is UC San Diego, who I have on  the bubble but nobody else mentions.  What am I missing with these two?

Because as usual the bottom of the bubble is not good.   They got to get 68 teams in the tourney.  Virginia made the tourney last year.  Unless they shorten the field this will always be the case.   Can’t wait to see your head explode when they expand the field and see some of the teams that will make it.  lol.

UConn it’s the wins away from home against would be my guess.  Zags neutral and Texas on the road.  Road wins against other top 100 teams that are not necessarily tourney teams help.   I haven’t done a deep dive with them but for me they would be 9 or 10 seed as of today.   Uc San Diego it’s lack of opportunities against tourney quality teams.  Only played 1 for sure tourney team and won on the road but lost at San Diego st which is a bubble team.    Q4 loss and a Q3 loss with a SOS of 228 is going to factor in.   Sucks because I really like that team however they just don’t get the opportunities high major teams get.   A team like them have to win those Q1 opportunities and can’t have any losses to Q4 which sucks because that’s what’s on their schedule.  ISU got left out last year basically because they lost to Illinois st at home

With this new Crown basketball tournament I’m interested to see if the B1G, Big East and  big 12 will force their teams to compete.   Each conference gets 2 auto qualifiers so the 2 teams from each conference with the best NET I’m guessing will have to participate.  They just showed a graphic during the Penn St game and they showed IU has a Crown team
