Uspshoosier Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 West Virginia should win that one pretty easily. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appOn their side of the bracket I think South Florida will give them a good game. I actually have DePaul winning it all Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sounds like it is a done deal just waiting for Miles to lose in the NIT. Hoiberg was just in Bloomington last week. He had some drinks at Nicks. Walking Boot of Doom and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appI honestly just enjoy someone that has that much joy and fun in their life. He would be a fun dude to be around for a day. Joe DeLow Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 [/url] Anyboyd see this? Boy, that would be a heck of a hire for Nebraska. That would definitely be a big hire. He did a lot for Iowa State. Nebraska gives us fits with Tim Miles as coach. So Hoiberg I’m sure wouldn’t be any different. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
LamarCheeks Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Back when Alford was fired, Hoiberg also was linked to the UCLA job. I wonder if that's cooled off a bit. I know at the time, he said he preferred the NBA. That said, if Nebraska does hire him, it shows that they're getting serious about a sport in which they've accomplished absolutely nothing. And they can get serious about a sport in which they've accomplished absolutely nothing, why can't we get serious about football??? (BTW, that's pretty much a rhetorical question). Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 I’ve always kinda liked Miles. Pretty good sense of humor. I think he’s an okay coach too. I thought this years Nebraska team should have done better though. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners woodenshoemanHoosierfan 1 Quote

It’s hard to get that at a place like Nebraska. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

I see it everywhere but it’s like they read of a script or have an agenda. If X happens then you need to push Y. In this game, we need you to talk about why player X is so good at doing Y even if he never does Y in the game. Walton just babbles and says whatever he wants to about whatever he wants. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Truth! Walton is refreshing because he makes it up on the go, rambles on about nothings, but doesn’t kowtow to anyone’s agenda. He knows what’s going on in modern college ball and doesn’t need to hide behind the ESPN script to be signed on for another year. He would be in my top 5 to get high as a kite and listen to his stories. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app johnsoniu, Deserthoozier and MoyeNeeded 1 2 Quote
