Has anyone else noticed that college ball seems to be more "down" this year? There very clearly isn't a great team. It seems like every week someone in the top 5 is losing or having a tough time with an average team, among other top 25 teams having head scratching losses. There is so much more parody than normal in my opinion. I wouldn't put my money on any team to win it all this year. My dad and I were talking about how this may be the year another mid-major, ala George Mason, makes the final 4.

Man I'm really rooting for Northwestern to make it to the tournament this year, and this is the year it could be done for them.

They've got a bunch of solid and experienced talent, and the top of the B1G is not nearly as tough it has been in past seasons.  If they can hold serve at home and pull off some road wins, they should be in prime position to get an invite.
