I can't stand the Cats either Devil but I think they will get knocked off a few times throughout the year. As they showed last year and against Albany this year, they often play to the level of their competition. 

 

Devil--Does Duke have any other tough games before we meet them in Cameron? I hope IU can knock them off before they start their usual improvement throughout the season.

Small data pool, big swings. Winning a fourth game gives a little bump over someone who is only at their 3rd.

 

Combine this with the ranking for other teams not being quite right yet (like, it'll take another 3 or 4 games before they can decide whether holding Old Dominion to 39 points is impressive or not). Just hard to get good data this early. That's why football's data is subject to such huge swings all the time. Small data set.
