WayneFleekHoosier Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Man, I guess I was right about KAT. Dude is an absolute stud. 28/14/4 on 11/19 shooting. 2nd career game. Quote
mdn82 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 But how will we keep the fan base if we suck? What the fans really want is a team that will never truly compete for the NBA title. We should keep drafting in the 8-12 range and hope that we might land another Paul George and hope this one's leg doesn't freaking snap in half. Some people actually believe this, or that this team just oozes potential, despite the fact that only two of our young guys are really worth anythingYeah the NBA you have to have at least two great players anymore to compete annually. It sucks but Indiana is not going to draw top FA. We have to build through the draft and keep going to games. I hope to make 7-10 home games this year. Indiana does a good job of making it a fun family atmosphere even when they suck. If we could get lucky enough to get two solid picks with one being a star I think we have a solid core. Most likely is hoping to get Cleveland lucky in the draft cause we aren't Philly bad. Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 So I kind of hope the Pacers suck enough to land Skal or Simmons in the draft. A front court of Skal/Simmons and Turner, who has been really pleasantly great in a small sample size so far, going forward would be more than enough to tide me over. Oh and hopefully it would be enough to keep PG past this contract, if for nothing else it would prevent him from playing the 4 a lot more, which he clearly doesn't want to do Quote

KingPG21 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 So Pacers are playing better, #StartTurner In other news the Greek Freak took another huge step to being the super star some, *myself included*, thought he would be. Quote

TheWatShot Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Almost an historic collapse tonight; up 27 late in the third quarter and the T-Wolves had a chance to take the lead with just under a minute to play. Held on for the win. PG with 29. Quote
TheWatShot Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Pacers are 2nd in the East right now. Quote

LIHoosier Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Somewhere Paul Westhead is shedding tears of joy. Halftime Golden State 79 Pacers 60 I just realized the game is on NBA TV. Is Quinn Buckner flabbergasted? Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 I truly believe if Golden State wants to score 200 points against the Sixers, they could do it. They're averaging about two points per possession. Just surreal watching them. Quote

KingPG21 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Billy King was reassinged, and Hollins fired. Nets fans have to be ecstatic, can't get much worse than what King did in 5 and a half years. Quote

Nets fans have to be ecstatic, can't get much worse than what King did in 5 and a half years. It's really their owners fault, he wanted to come in and contend right away so he spend an inordinate amount of money on players such as Deron Williams and Joe Johnson (who is making almost 25 MILLION THIS YEAR!). True. Though doesn't help that King got fleeced in every trade he ever participated in. Prok put him in a horrible position. They probably won't do it, but they need to trade off Lopez and Thad in the hopes they might get a first round pick. They've probably been set back about 5-6 years, and neither one of those guys is going to be good by the time the organization might be good enough to win again. Quote
