KingPG21 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Also worth mentions Pero Antic and Thabo Sefolosha of the Hawks were arrested and released on charges of obstructing setting up the crime scene. Sef actually rushed a cop according to the report WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 This Spurs/Rockets game is turrrble. They've called so many fouls I'm not sure what a foul is anymore. The announcers are making it even worse. Turrrble turrrble but fun like watch a train wreck. Quote
KingPG21 Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Well James Harden is playing. Refs were given a different rules hand book for him apparently I like his game, but dude gets the benefit on a ton of calls going his way Quote
Dalton26 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Really hoping Miami loses out so we can be one of the bottom 10 teams. Our first rounder is top 10 protected and I hope Stanley Johnson falls to us. Quote
KingPG21 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 The paranoia from the Pacers fan base about everyone being out to get the Pacers is palpable. Some much whining about teams resting guys against other teams then not resting against the Pacers. So freaking whiny IU Hoosier41 1 Quote

Some much whining about teams resting guys against other teams then not resting against the Pacers. So freaking whiny I can't figure out why so many fans desperately want the 8 seed. PG is still too rusty for this team to have any chance against Atlanta and some of the comments I've seen lead me to believe many Pacer fans don't fully grasp how good Atlanta is. I think when PG came back, it made a lot of fans think it's like he was never out and the team is ready for a deep run when that's nowhere close to being the case. TheWatShot Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Also, the Pacers are in this position because of what the Pacers have done. Not because other teams are/aren't playing their starters. If you need help to make the playoffs in the East, you probably don't deserve to go anyway. And if you know you're going to suck, then you tank. You don't try to be the worst playoff team. They should have kept Hill and West out for half the season and used the lottery pick to make the team better. Instead, they're going to end up with the 15th pick in the draft, a quick exit from the playoffs and more fans screaming to get rid of Hibbert (regardless of performance). Quote

I'd add in that some of my stance is when PG went down I didn't want to make the playoffs. Perfect time and draft to be bad and get a good young player. Just to add on to what you're talking about, I think some think the roster is good, when really outside of PG, GH,and maybe Solo going forward the roster isn't actually good. Then you add in the people who keep saying the draft is a crapshoot (it isn't) and that drafting in the lottery doesn't guarantee anything. I don't get the logic of wanting the 15th pick and getting our asses handed to us as compared to getting the 9th pick. You're going to get a much better pick at 9 than 15, about 90% of the time IU Hoosier41, ThompsonHoosier and Hovadipo 3 Quote
Hovadipo Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Looking like we have a good shot to get in. It's so bittersweet. We miss a lottery chance in a really nice draft, but we're in the playoffs with Atlanta (AGAIN). If we're in...might as well make some noise. IU Hoosier41 1 Quote
IU Hoosier41 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 . You're going to get a much better pick at 9 than 15, about 90% of the time Yogi will still be there at 15 so we're fine guys. Oops wrong thread. pappy1865, WayneFleekHoosier, djsalway and 1 other 4 Quote
djsalway Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 What's the scenario for the Nets to make it at this point? Or are the Pacers locked into the 8 seed? Quote

IUfan_Charlie Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I really hope there is a good center prospect on the board when we draft, don't know how much more Hibbert and Mahimni I can take. Quote
