Mark Cuban says he's going to put a program in place to take care of Mavericks concession workers and others making hourly pay who will lose work time due to NBA coronavirus shutdown.

Absolutely! We all have fun playing and watching NBA games, but many of our hard working hourly employees and support staff depend on wages from our home games. We’re going to make sure that they’re taken care of!  Even if I have to pay out of pocket to help out

What do you guys think will happen? Cancel the rest of the regular season and seed 1-8 start playoffs when they normally would or pick up where they left off? Or a combo of both.

Uhh... I guess it depends on where everything is with this? Could just cancel it all. Which I’d be real mad as a Bucks fan.

If they do manage to play the postseason would be nice if Vince Carter can get a release and sign with a team playing. Dude played in 4 decades deserve some ceremony in his last game.

I think the NBA will be canceled altogether. Too much risk and it’ll only get worse before it gets better.

I’d start the playoffs when play picks up again. Too many more regular season games to get through at this point. Shouldn’t be an 82 game regular season anyway

ESPN has tried their hardest to make me dislike him as they usually do with over-exposure, but he’s such an awesome person on top of his talent, I just can’t do it.

In an interview with TNT’s Ernie Johnson, NBA commissioner Adam Silver says he's told his people with the NBA that there will be no way to have a real answer about where things are headed in terms of starting the season again until, at a minimum, May 1.

Silver says that no decisions have been made about whether there will be regular season games if the season resumes. He said "in an ideal world" there would be. He also says that, at some point, things get too late in the calendar before they begin to impact next season.

With the numbers of the traditional labor force that are currently unemployed due to the virus or have had to take forced reductions in their pay, I'm afraid I'm not overly sympathetic to professional athletes.

Yes... I thought it was a pretty great start to The Last Dance. I loved the candidness of Jordan, Pippen, Jackson, and Reinsdorf in the interviews. The jumping around in time can be a little jarring, but it’s the best way to give context and a little history on Jordan and the Bulls team. There was a nice Knight cameo, calling Jordan the best player he’d ever coached during the ‘84 olympics.

I was a huge Reggie and Pacers fan in the ‘90s, but there was always an inevitability about how these seasons would end when the Bulls were at their peak. Jordan is the best ever, and the most captivating athlete I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see the rest of these episodes.
