JSHoosier Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Best of luck to her. Am I the only one that got to the part that said "search advisory committee" and thought "not again"? Quote

johnsoniu Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 The last PU grad did fine here, her ONE year here. Luckily, Versyp just got an extension thru 2020 so we shouldn't have to worry about Moren bolting for the cow pasture anytime in the immediate future. 8bucks Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Well if true this should help @JPPrice: Just spoke w/ IU AD Fred Glass, who says Teri Moren's contract includes provision for $10 million dollar buyout to leave for Purdue. #iuwbbSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Hutch89, ccgeneral, WayneFleekHoosier and 2 others 5 Quote
LockdownD Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 This is good news. Coach Moren has done a great job over at ISU and she is coming into a program that has momentum. I expect her to continue building the women's program up to national recognition. mamasa, HoosierReb01, LazOffTheBench and 2 others 5 Quote

Naturalhoosier Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Welcome Coach!!! As a lifelong Hoosier fan I'm sure this is a big honor. I know she played at Purdue but let's face it, IUWBB wasn't really alluring in the late 80s. Sent from the can using BtownBanners LazOffTheBench, WayneFleekHoosier, HoosierReb01 and 1 other 4 Quote
pappy1865 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Haven't posted at all since the season ended, but as I've said before, I'm a Sycamore grad. Coach Moren did great things with my trees, and will do great with the talent that IU has. Hope she does well, and the Sycamores get another coach of her caliber. TTT Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Reminiscing from when T. Moren started as IU Ladies basketball coach as to what it was and the barriers especially the first couple years (riding Buss and Cahill) to where it is in 2023-2024 and how it came to be over the T. Moren era thus far is just awesome. Quote

Yes, she had to overcome some barriers that is what makes it so awesome. She and her staff really worked hard to get the IU Ladies basketball culture to where it is today….(and I remember her saying (humbly and confidently)a few years back that she had to learn a few things as well). The transfers were more of resistance to a new culture change than anything else. Buss and Cahill (great people and players themselves) along with the others that stayed bought in. ….just an interesting research of comments and T. Moren growth and accolades including coaching wins, assignments on national USA teams etc. Quote
