Yeah, the Remy thing is about as confirmed as confirmed can get. Of course, it does beg the question why he had to go when other players have apparently gotten away with breaking rules.

I think that your place in the program's future directly reflects your punishment for breaking the rules.  Should never be that way.  Jeremy lost his focus and got sat down for 3 or 4 games.  Hanner got arrested and only suspended 2.  Someone tell me how that adds up?

Honestly, I have no issues with people posting honest feelings and frustrations.  My problem is when every one of their posts is that way, or they hijack every thread for that purpose.  I completely understand the frustration with our situation.

I was told I was too negative a few minutes ago, but it's tough not to be when all you hear is bad news concerning your favorite team. Passed over for the NIT, the rumors on Crean, now it is transfer time! Making me ill.

These are the two players that frustrated me the most in their time at IU. JH was so promising coming out of high school, and even with a year under his belt,  the second Troy Williams stepped foot in Bloomington he was a better player than JH. Etherington could have been a great piece to a winning basketball team, but he couldnt/wouldnt do what he came to IU to do, shoot the 3 ball. 

 

Best of luck to them in the future, but I don't see either of them significantly improving their game.

 

IMO this is not a bad thing for IU. I will always be disappointed  when a player wants to leave IU for other reasons than graduation and NBA. But, this will open up more minutes for JBJ, Rojo, Troy, Hanner, Stanford, and even Hoetzel.

AE got his Iu degree, I don't see a problem with him wanting to play elsewhere... JH on the other hand, kid had so much potential, just didn't seem to get up to the speed of how we play the game. Wish him luck wherever he ends up

That would make 6 transfers in 2 years if hollowell were to go. That sounds to me like a Coaching staff problem not a player problem.

Just got home and read the news. And find this big, long thread about it. Really gonna miss AE, he's exactly the kind of player IU needed. JH had a lot of potential, but as of yet, it hadn't showed up. JM will do well at a smaller school, down a division or two. Oh well, we're a football school now anyway!
