Wow, is that chart inaccurate! The depictions of the fish are decent enough but it includes at least 5 species that won't be found within several hundred miles of Patoka and at least another 5 that are possible in theory but highly unlikely to be found there.

I am going back tonight. We have been catching bluegill, striped bass, that drum , and catfish

I heard someone caught a 20" 4 lb.  crappie at Patoka a few weeks ago.

That crappie looks every bit as nice as it sounded!

 

I just finalized my vacation plans, if the tropical storms/hurricanes and covid 19 all cooperate I will be fishing In St. Pete come September. If it is not asking too much, it would be nice if the snook and smacks cooperate too!

Leaving tomorrow afternoon for Leech Lake in MN. Perch and walleye if everything goes as planned. If not, beer and cigars! Well, those last two no matter how the fishing is....
