He will go home and discuss it all with family. He seems to want to commit before early signing period. I'm liking our chances today. It seems his family wants to watch his games and I think that will be a big bonus for us. UK would have been a severe threat but I still feel UCLA is too far away.

Get Wilkes on top of others and Crean can do whateva he wants with scholly 5.

Granted a splashy 5th recruit won't hurt my feelings.

Side note- I feel really good right now regarding Chuck Martins eye for talent and Crean. ( hoping the Priller/April business was some odd alternate universe that has an inside explanation).

I think Wilkes is ours honestly. UCLA would be our biggest threat w Xavier & Illinois as long shots. Its still not over until he signs though, but he's always gave off the vibe he wanted to be a Hoosier, but just wanted to see how much the staff wanted him to be one and what they were doing to make that happen. I'd expect a cmmitt regardless within a month. If we get him & Blackmon does return next year along w maybe Waters I believe it won't be a dropoff from this years team. It will just go from our frontcourt being our strength to our guards/wings and honestly DD should be very good as well. Make it happen coach.

After changing his IU pick and publicly saying he did it just to get it off IU, I bet he'd get a lot of flack for it. It looks like he is ours to lose by everything I've seen. The article Rabjohns posted w the interview gave me a lot of confidence. The longer his recruitment goes though its only bad for us. Like he's settling for us, so hopefully here soon we find out that he's a Hoosier!!
