Home Jersey Posted Wednesday at 12:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:46 PM If 5 for 5 goes ahead and class of 2022 gets an extra year, it would be great to have Sam Alexis. I'd prefer Wilkerson come back in that scenario but wouldn't make as much sense for him as Alexis. Quote

Not gonna go back and do the research but hasn't it already been determined that Wilkerson wouldn't qualify under the proposed 5 x 5 scenario? HoosierHoopster and Home Jersey 2 Quote

And my teeny-tiny brain adjusted to the glitchines, so by the second half it seemed kinda normal. In the second half they really didn't break away from the game at all. Some 'unreliable takeaways?' The opposition was really, really bad, but they were full size. Lindsay is quiet- no dynamic athletic qualities at all. But he plays like a grown-up. Sisley sure looked like one of our five best players. The only place he could start is at the three, but jeez, he looked the part on both ends of the floor. Prince is the man. He is super strong and athletic, especially defensively. He also looked like he did a better job running the offense with the second team than Lindsay as the backup pg could with the first team. And his outside shot was composed and on point. He looks like a starter quality player for sure; I wonder if Devries will consider him over Lindsay or Harris. Karvala is super-intruiging and is going to be a popular player. He rebounded, including outside of his zone and to me it seemed that he really has fun being out there. I'm sure he has tons of maturing to do, but some players simply catch the eye on the court and he is one of them. Mustaf is very deferential on offense. On defense he is a truck - strong enough to move much taller players out of their intended position. Harris? Meh. Aginst terrible opposition you'd think he would show some alpha qualities. Nope. Markus Burton got to wherever he wanted repeatedly. He is a truly dynamic player. Thanks for the great summary. I believe it's just an oversight but don't forget Manhertz - 3 of 5 from 3 and pure shot. Seems to be comfortable on the floor and always in the right place so good instincts. I REALLY like our freshman class and hope that we can continue to stack future classes on top of them. RoderickJaynes, HoosierHoopster and Hollywood Mike Miranda 3 Quote

Harris did not impress me at all. Seemed to get lost at times. Quote

Home Jersey Posted Wednesday at 04:05 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:05 PM Summer competition thus far seems very subpar. Hopefully we advance to the finals and play a team with enough talent for a legitimate challenge. Adding Alexis for this season would be huge. ronzo4IU, HoosierHoopster and Hardwood83 3 Quote

Thought the competition would come if we faced Brazil until I saw Chile beat them by 20. I think we have to just be happy that the squad has been together in an official capacity all summer.
