The first coaches poll is out.  We had the 2nd most 1st place votes, but ended up 6th.  Put it on the bulletin board!

Correct.  Wyatt would be full go to begin the year. Daley would ease himself back in and most likely won't be back until several weeks into the season.

Combined post season wins in the 1-5 =3. We had 4.  
 

3-5 is also my desired Path to a repeat

Texas always overrated.  OSU lost alot on D but bring back QB and JS so they are 1?  We will fight for it and earn it again this season.

Ponds and fischer will be incredibly tough ti replace but having one of the best and deepest Dlines in the country ought to go a long ways in that regard.

There's one. If Daley is still that impactful when he's up to speed then our DL could be scary, especially if Wyatt is back.

Staes would add some experience to the TE room.

Yeah but if Wyatt comes back Haines will be able to hide blitzes to the next level.

Pete Thamel adds that Daley has been cleared by IU officials. Unclear if that’s legally or medically, but medically would be a wild turn of events.

A ruptured patella tendon is listed as a 6 to 12 month injury to return to sports, with 12 months the norm for recovered with near full explosiveness.

Daley has been out for 8 1/2 months. That could easily mean full activity and regaining his burst.

That’s a much rosier outlook than the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine study on NFL patellar and quad tendon tears. Near full explosiveness is basically a coin flip. Mean return to play time around 355 days from injury. I hope he gets there, I’m only coming at it from the standpoint of not getting my hopes up.
