Aaron Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This fouling up three before five seconds left has got to stop. Coaches are so terrified of overtime they do it with 10-15 seconds left only to lose in regulation with missed free throws and turnovers in play. The next coach who fouls up three early needs to be fired as soon as it backfires to teach these modern guys a lesson. I hate Duke and glad they lost, but its another example of coaching not understanding modern strategy. Yes the turnover was awful, but even if foul is given, Duke is in one and one and same three pointer for loss could well happen. With one and ones and no ability to take it half court in college, this fouling up three with over ten seconds left has got to be thrown in dustbin of history. If DeVries every does that and it causes a loss, you can bet I will be emailing Dolson next morning demanding firing and accountability. Coaches need to learn to stop bringing losing into play in regulation which is all you are doing if you foul before five seconds. Regardless of result, its the worst idea the coaching community has ever come up with pre-five seconds. BannerVille 1 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Like Ryan Day before his title. The massive $ donors will start to get restless without a title in the next few years. If he left for the NBA…Dukes the top gig in the sport. #1 NIL like OSU football. They’d be more than fine Quote

That's some pretty poor commentating considering Smith was on the floor and did not, in fact, come off the bench to celebrate with Mullins lol Stuhoo 1 Quote
