Demo Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Lipsey is just about a perfect college PG. Not stupidly talented but he just executes like crazy and he’s a total extension of the coach and keeps everyone aligned and he defends and competes his a$$ off and he makes a play when you need a play and he’s been there 4 years. That’s it, that’s what you want. Stuhoo, RoadRage and Jeff Flabjohns 3 Quote
Popular Post str8baller Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 Good for Otz. You rarely see a coach completely flip the script on style. He went from grind it out mugging basketball to this high flying offense. Pretty impressive stuff. I wouldn’t mind seeing them win it all. Stuhoo, BGleas, skhoosier2 and 6 others 9 Quote

Coaches the roster he has and builds around their abilities. Of the realistic options (though not sure he was actually realistic), I think Otz was my #1 hope last hiring cycle for Indiana. He is a coach I really wanted at IU although I pretty much assumed he wasn’t attainable. Good halftime adjustments and their defense was terrific. Jefferson was a big loss. Impressed with them today. I only filled out one bracket this year and that’s who I’ve got winning at all. Didn’t count on Jefferson being hurt, but if he comes back, look out. skhoosier2, RoadRage and Demo 3 Quote

And unless you’re 1 of those programs like UNC or UK that don’t just want to win but want to do it with a certain sort of panache and you’d want probably an Oats-type how is Otz not what you want? That guy’s the whole deal and he’s gonna win every year anywhere. He’s gonna be like Sampson minus the awfulness. Pagoda, Home Jersey and BGleas 3 Quote

Popular Post Hovadipo Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 I’m not sure how I stumbled on it, but this appears to be a non-AI photo of Malik Reneau in line for some pizza after their game today. Other tweets lead me to believe he ended up with chicken tendies. Either way, I find this extremely funny and am left with a bunch of questions. Figured he was Sampson-lite and just live and die with that aggressive defensive and brutal offense his whole career. I guess that’s maybe why I’m so impressed with what they’re doing now. If someone pries him away they’re getting a heckuva coach. skhoosier2 1 Quote
