Raleek Brown also had 34 catches for 239 yards. Hemby and Black didn't combine for that.

Seems to be something they are wanting to add to the offense. RBs that get reception. Turbo was pretty good at that as well

Looks like Notre Dame is trying to build the narrative that they are too elite to win because they are such a fine school.   Lol soon they will say they are the Ivy of the Midwest

I believe he said “Asterix”. In a discussion where it was implied Marsh chose IU so he could skip classes. Yeesh

And someone replying, in earnest, "it's crazy how no one but us see this"

Nobody ever accused the Domers of having self-awareness...

They are so convinced they are elite.  I’ve seen several say their QB is elite.  They played a bunch of garbage defenses and had the best run support in the nation and their QB was 24/6.  That’s good but certainly not elite

A convenient out that runs very much counter to the narrative the Freeman era has established, where they're convinced he has a lot more flexibility from admissions than Kelly ever did.

Gotta be one or the other... they just don't want to acknowledge getting beat out by a better program...

Question is if Bostad's ready to trust them. Ajani he obviously does,  and Wilkins seems to have impressed him, but I bet they get at least a couple of experienced guys. I don't think Cignetti's going to bet next years national championship run on untested freshmen.

Totally reasonable assumption. Let’s break this down

LT - Smith?

LG - Lynch

C-

RG- Evans

RT - Ajani

Depth: Greer, Lawrence, Wilkin

Then you have several other FR who RS this year.

IU will need a transfer Center and starting LT if Smith leaves. Is the consensus that Smith is gone?

I’d be shocked if Smith is back, day 2 pick at worst.

I haven't seen any info on which guys are going pro....excuse me, NFL, they're already pro. But I really doubt they don't look to the portal for experienced replacements for Coogan, Benson, and Michalski. At least a couple guys. They might not end up first stringers, kinda like Michalski.

Beebe was the most impressive back on this years team before injury imo. I think Martin is an absolute stud as well. Hope we can retain both

DB room isn’t as desolate as I anticipated either. Serious talent for the underclassmen, which probably led to Knighten transferring. IU will return: Sharpe, Baldwin Jr, Jah Jah Boyd, Ferrell, Gandy, and seemingly have replaced Boykin’s role in the WI transfer. If Ponds returns the DB group is a transfer away from being complete.

LB room needs 1 transfer. Owen Long would’ve the Homerun to complete.

DT needs 1 transfer & DE needs complete overhaul.

IUFB is not losing a ton for a team full of 26 year olds as SEC twitter likes to say

Edit: as I typed this IU added DE STUD position transfer from KSU

How do you insert tweets here?

Three ways:

1) The ‘only the link, not the visual’ way— cut and paste the link.

2) The easy way with the visual, but others can’t access the link—screen shot the tweet visual, cut and paste.

3) The full access way—cut and paste the tweet link with the letter “x” replaced with the word “Twitter”
