Assuming we grab a QB, and are rumored for Hoover, is he the best?  Ton of production but seems to struggle in big games. Lines fault or his, I have no idea but got me wondering who would be the best fit if we could choose

Not the best by ratings but he’s up there. 
 

I think I’ll trust this staffs talent evaluation over any sort of transfer rankings at this point though.

Apparently Cig/Shanny/Whitmer think he is the right choice. So congrats to Josh Hoover because after one year at IU he will be the best.

This staff does such a great job transforming players I barely worry about deficiencies they have at other programs.  Because when a player gets to the IUFB program, their weaknesses are probably going to get fixed.

From what I read on 247, we have a number of targets arriving today/tonight and a full weekend schedule for our staff on top of starting to prep for Oregon.

This is why the calendar for football needs to be looked at.  I get it, that they want to transfer and get into the new school before the semester starts in mid-January, but you still have the CFB going on.  At least for MBB it is a week or so after the Final Four.  I am pretty sure Cig has a big team going over tape and evaluations looking for those high character players they like.

Yeah I think games need to start a week or so earlier.  Cut down the insane byes after conference championships. 
 

Need to get the season ending 18 days sooner. With the rose bowl being the superbowl of college. That way the portal is opening after everybody’s done.

That’s a ton of work.

Interestingly, Oregon has to do portal work without their coordinators, who I assume must be doing portal work for their new HC gigs at UK and Cal.  Nuts.

I believe that 'Ole Miss is in the same situation, but they are doing it for conference rivals who do play each other next season.  Kiffen got another bonus courtesy of 'Ole Miss.

I guess LSU allowed ole miss coaches to stay with ole miss but it’s contentious because they want them at LSU.  Would be petty beyond belief for Kiffin to pull them now.  But I could see that ******* doing it.  Just let them beat Miami first Lane.

He's in the rare situation where the best choice is also the absolute easiest one to make.

Livingstone had 29 catches, 516 yards and 6 touchdowns last year -- and was just a freshman.

Also remember that Tyler Morris will be returning from injury next year.
