Don't forget that it took FOUR OVERTIME PERIODS for IU to "dominate".

Rumors floating around Daley suffered a season ending knee injury after the game Saturday, anyone heard that or is it baseless?

It was a Peegs post and then they deleted the thread. Still completely unconfirmed.

Would be pretty terrible— other than Mendoza and Coogan, DE is the position with the biggest drop off between the starters and the next man up. And when a defensive lives by disrupting, losing your single most disruptive player would be no bueno.

Pass rush is already thin with Wyatt out. Hope its a baseless rumor because losing Daley would be a gut punch.

In.the press conference coach said none of the injuries from the game would effect the players for the next game. I guess since this rumor is after the game so the use of in game injuries might not include this. I would say if this happened coach would have mentioned the possibility about Dailey missing the game

To assume for a moment that the report of his injury was true, how the heck to you suffer a season-ending knee injury celebrating a B1G conference championship game win? What kind of "celebrating" are they doing to get injured that badly?

Different sport but in 2010 Kendry Morales tore his ACL jumping into home plate on a walk off grand slam. Recall Bellinger dislocating his shoulder on a home run celebration too. Crazier things have happened. Daly has been so good, hope it's not true

Alcohol would have to be involved I imagine.

Probably from running and jumping around celebrating. And potentially landing awkwardly too.

Agreed.  Heard coach say he gave the team two days off.   So if he’s not back practicing tomorrow word will spread fast
