Listed as a 6'6" SF by 247, he attends Christian Academy of Louisville in Louisville, KY.  He plays AAU for Indiana Elite on the 3SSB circuit  averaging 10.9 points on 52.0 percent shooting from the field which includes 36.8 percent from deep. He has also added 5.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game

Brandon Jenkins on Cook from the first 3SSB session this year:  Indiana Elite's Jordan "Boogie" Cook, a Class of 2028 recruit, immediately passed the eye test and is a long term prospect to monitor. The Louisville (Ky.) Christian Academy product already stands 6-foot-6 with impressive perimeter ball skills. His upside is significant and he looks like the next highly touted name to emerge from Indiana Elite's proven grassroots pipeline.

No rest for this staff.  Recruiting never really stops.  I love the work we’re seeing.  :)

Why do we waste time with Kentucky kids. They don’t come to IU.  I only remember one kid from the ville who did many years ago.  Complete waste of time.

Remy Abell is the only one that I can recall at the moment.

Sampson was able to get a commitment from Bud Mackey, who is from Kentucky. Of course, in the end he didn't come to IU.

The Bud Mackey disrespect is unbelievable.

This interview seals the love for me:

"HoopsReport.com: When you gave IU a verbal toward the end of last year what were some of your biggest reasons for choosing the Hoosiers?

Mackey: You know, I love IU. It’s a great place and I thought that it was the best fit for me.

HoopsReport.com: There have been a lot of rumors about how strong your commitment is to IU and that your home state school, Kentucky, is trying to test that commitment. Talk about how solid you are with Indiana.

Mackey: The rumors you hear are not true. I will never change my commitment. I’m 100% IU.

HoopsReport.com: From all accounts, he’s a great kid who will bring a lot to the IU program upon his arrival in Bloomington."
