RoadRage Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 Richardson was totally flopping on that, was barely touched! Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 You know it's getting bad for UK when they take a page out of the Tom Crean playbook and try switching defenses during a live ball. Quote
Ryno6284 Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 Why don't they have a big east ref crew do this Michigan st/ole miss game? Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 At least Michigan and MSU can’t BOTH make the Final Four :( Quote

I’d be ok with MSU or UM (although that would be a Royal kick in the nuts) winning it all for the Big Ten. Unfortunately I think MSU, even though they had a nice comeback, loses by 8-12. That being said…….I will never pull for PU to win the natty. Never. Ever. Bolded: I present exhibit A as to why I don’t bet on games anymore. RoadRage 1 Quote

DChoosier Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 I really, really enjoyed continuously seeing Richardsons father, and other parents, during the game. I don’t think we are far away from games primarily showing the parents with brief flashes of the play on the court. RoadRage 1 Quote
DChoosier Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 MSU was favored by 3.5 so the meaningless last second three by Miss State busted the MSU bettors by a half point. OUCH. str8baller and RoadRage 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 Is the physicality of college basketball just that much higher than what it is in high school basketball? It's just weird how we never see all these plays in high school games like "hook and hold" or hear about "skirmishes" away from the ball that have to constantly be reviewed. Quote

But I am rooting for them tonight against the only guy whom I ever would. That I’m forced to do something that gross pretty much guarantees that Houston’s gonna win it by 30 and the soul-sucking feeling of rooting for little brother only to have them embarrass themselves will make me hate them even more. RoadRage Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 It's going to be a long night, but I can't miss that Purdue Houston game....Houston should win by 10+, but it will be like a home game for Purdue! Quote

Hey at least they no longer show Mark Sears' mom pretend to shoot free throws while her son is at the stripe during Alabama games. Thay made me all kinds of irrationally angry. It is/was seldom enforced if it is even still a rule! Quote

I think its a combination of increased physicality and mentality. You have a lot more high-level athletes playing against each other where in high school your dominant players are often met with less resistance. On top of that high major basketball is just a different beast when it comes to competitiveness. DChoosier 1 Quote
