Utah State head coach Jerrod Calhoun is expected to sign a restructured deal with the Aggies, source told @TheFieldOf68. Shocked that West Virginia couldn't get this done with Calhoun. He was the easy pick, especially with his connections to the state.

The hits keep on coming for WVU

And his wife will still be a 10 in FL

Forbes to WVU is what someone is posting online.  See if it’s True.  WF is a tough job.

From what I'm gathering by reading between the lines while watching this Iowa Press Conference, BM was their first choice.

DeVries was their first choice and the first choice of their fans as well until it was reported he wouldn’t be heading that way.   He was always 1 on their hot board until he said no thanks.    Posters here were flipping out IU was going to end up with Iowas second choice in McCollum

A school is acting like the guy they hired was their first choice? You should really put a BREAKING tag on the post.

He was their first choice. After DeVries turned them down.

Just like DeVries was IU's first choice. After Stevens and May and, as rumors have it, others turned them down.

They got a quality coach as did IU. Nothing wrong with being the first choice after others.

Chris Mack is staying

Dumb question by me: But what the heck happened to Chris Mack? Did a really good job at Xavier. If not for Covid that Louisville team in 2020 probably at least makes the Sweet 16. Him staying at Charleston makes me think he wasn't a top candidate at Xavier this time around.

Big Ten just got better by the 3 coaches just brought in. I can see McCollum taking Iowa to the next level (Winning Big Ten Titles, making deep tournament runs, improving NIL, etc). That's a really good hire. Obviously love the Devries hire. Medved I think can do well at Minnesota but it'll probably take a few years.

The reason the SEC is dominating college hoops is because they not only have good coaches, but good program builders. I think the Big Ten just brought 3 very good program builders in.

SEC athletic departments also have MASSIVE football money.
