When Woody's departure was announced, Zrno was nevertheless all in on staying at IU. Zrno when CDD took over? All of the sudden he "chose" to de-commit. Trent Sisley when CDD took over? Immediately echoed his new coach's words by posting "Let's work." It's CDD's NIL budget and each player is a budget and cultural fit choice for Coach. To me? Message sent by the new staff to these two players that one of them still be welcomed into the family with deal as it was previously in place. go iu bb, NVFalcons1990, Home Jersey and 4 others 6 1 Quote
Pagoda Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Fwiw, per the emerging account that called Devries relatively early, Mullins won’t happen. Regardless of this account’s opinion, it was always a longshot to flip a UConn commit. Muskie plays the four and Stuhoo 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I read somewhere last night that Zrno's decommitment was at IU's suggestion. As for Mullins, I fully expect him to honor his UConn commitment. Still lots of uncertainty with our program. He spends a less than satisfying year with Hurley, hears good things from Sisley and who knows what happens next summer. TJD’s last team was a protected seed. And Creans last made the S16. But I agree with you. We should be that good or better. Home Jersey 1 Quote

With our budget we need to be picking up kids that produce and want to move up. Not disgruntled 5stars. Even Woody accomplished that. Home Jersey 1 Quote

You have to be a little insane to coach CBB. :) Stuhoo and str8baller 2 Quote

After the way he’s acted lately and his team went from back to back national champion to an 8 seed I’m not sure how desirable he would be in the NBA plus I just don’t think he would take much unless maybe like a Knicks job or something OliviaPope40 1 Quote
