Given they were picked to finish 2nd 6-8 isn't good. They should be like 10-4 at least if we are to go off projections.

In a perfect world - MSU loses every remaining game, Izzo fails to break RMK's record, and retires at end of season, walking off with Woodson into the sunset....

The rest of their schedule is brutal. Next game is at illinois.

Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread. I know Woodson is gone, and we are already planning and thinking about the future...but I will at least give him credit, he was coaching his butt off last night. Worked the sideline, getting into guys and teaching/coaching. Kenya was also heavily engaged. The switch to zone was effective, MSU wasn't hitting...rotations were decent, guys were locked in. 

This team still can't seem to grasp when to foul and when not to in end game situations...and who to foul. We fouled at 15 seconds and 10 seconds, no where near the basket and before they even got into a set, causing us to have to clutch up and hit a couple more free throws than we needed to. Also, we didn't even try to deny their best FT shooter the ball on inbounds...but it ended up working out. 

The bench also showed life, excitement...hyping and encouraging each other. I don't think this team has rolled over and quit, when they easily could of just phoned it in given the circumstances.

Solid game plan and good win. Our nerves or whatever almost got the best of us late. Liked them hitting FTs and not even trying to play defense

Thats the frustrating part for me. The staff and these players are capable of alot more than what they’ve shown most of the season

I still can’t get over Galloway being unplayable at end of games due to free throw shooting? Is it nerves? Is he this bad in an empty gym? Sucks because we are better with him on the floor but, just plain can’t trust him. Izzo clearly targeted him which was very smart of him. And started early.
