Too many negative vibes for too long coming from Cig.

Hard to see how this wasn't coming, and given our success hard to see how McCulley was buying into the program. He certainly had enough talent to play a major role.

.....It's crazy to think that losing him in years past could have seemed tough or even devastating. It also goes to show you how much of a difference Coach Cignetti and Co. have changed everything we think, thought or knew about the "old IU".   Currently, he was just a piece of a LOADED receiving corps and not the "go to" guy that he once was.

I don't think he really bought in the the new regime...... What happened to all this stuff he was talking about earlier.....? lol

"Indiana University football wide receiver Donaven McCulley told new coach Curt Cignetti to "coach me hard" and that Cignetti's tough love approach was helping him improve as a player."

Yep, saw that coming. Cig made no secret for the past 10 months that he isn't a big DMac fan. He'll get paid handsomely.

Shew. That's a tough sell for me. Kid can't make it work at Indiana in a year like this... just massive red flags.

Maybe Colorado?

Depends how sunny the postcards from Khalil Benson are. But too many tools for someone not to throw the bag at him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not torn up about it at all. Get right or get left.

Most disappointing thing I've read today: "Northwestern leads the all-time series with Indiana 47-35-1, including victories in five of the past six meetings."

I know IUFB is historically awful, but I didn't expect that we have been owned by the pretentious MAC school in Chicago. How putrid.

Gotta start rectifying that this week!

Cig may try to make up the entire point differential for the 12 games we’re trailing in the series, all on Saturday. Lol

Coming in at #17 in the Massey composite.

Purdue is #105.

There goes Massey again.

Underrating IU and dramatically overrating PU.

It makes no sense that his system has PU ranked higher than more deserving teams like UT-San Antonio or Jax State. Just baffling.

You really can't blame DMac, he has aspirations of playing on Sunday and there's only one football...he's a good player, no doubt he will excel wherever he lands, hopefully out of the B1G!

Guys aspiring to play on Sundays shouldn’t have to find a weaker college team to get playing time.

And they should take new coaches and incoming transfers at their position as personal challenges that they will overcome to remain a starter.
