Moikobu has become my guy in the last week. Not only does he win everywhere he goes, but the cherry on top was reading that he found Darrion Williams in the portal coming off a fairly unremarkable freshman year at Nevada. Dude clearly has an eye.

Need to temper expectations IMO — visit doesn’t mean signing.  I like our chances with Conwell more than Dix but my god if we get both?  That would be sweet.

Not sure what you mean lol. Visit means everything in portal. You get a kid in Bloomington you don't let them leave without commitment.

Norton is not going to be one of the 3 main assistants. The plan is still to try to get both Moikobu and Murphy.

If they can put something together with Murphy that will of course be awesome, but it just feels really tough. Now that Ryan Pantone is taking the Arkansas St job you’d think that Murphy may have the leverage to get the AHC title and probably be the highest paid Asst in the country. And it’s not like it would be a stretch for Bama to do it. 
But if DeVries can make that happen, woah.

Is there any feel on Xavier Booker? No minutes in MSU's 2 games last week. I think him entering portal breaks soon and being from Indy could see him as a possibility(?) .I can see Izzo retiring also.

Curious case there.  Would we even want him as a backup?  I kinda assume we might but he's shown nothing to make me feel good about it besides "potential"

I think there is a chance, but I was told that DDV is more concerned with figuring out the roster and then will work on incoming freshmen. So they would be more after April 7.

Absolutely not and go wash your mouth out with soap for even bringing up his name.  He had no motor in high school and Izzo hasn't been able to motivate him.  Hasn't seen double digit minutes in over a month and I don't think he's played a single minute since the tournament started.

Seeing Dix, Cornwell and Flory visiting today is very nice.  Also seeing Enright planning a visit is good too.  Hypothetically, all four would bring different aspects of the game to this team that would mesh well with restarting fresh.  Pair that with DeVries and that is a nice starting 5 one might add. 

 

I would LOVE to get McNeeley on campus but have yet to see any confirmation of a visit set up
