As much as it sucks to say, I want Purdue to win by 40, 50 would be better.

I actually think... playing "reasonably well" and losing by 12-18 is a worse indictment. JMO

I’m sure the dweebs will have a bunch of Woody chants they’re convinced are clever too. We’re gonna get nuked. I’m hoping we somehow play inspired and keep it respectable at 15 or less. This has all the hallmarks of an epic beat down.
Is be pretty surprised if the score is not like 39-14 with about 5 minutes left in the first half

Exactly. How in the world did Woody coach in New York?

I used to watch the nba more back then, and his two coaching stints really weren’t as bad as his overall record suggests.

He worked for two atrocious organizations at the time. In the NBA you can get some mileage with just roster/star management and guys seemed to like him. He also came in and did better than his predecessors at both places. So he didn’t face a ton of fan abuse. Quite the opposite really. But there’s a reason he didn’t last long at either spot and we’re seeing it.

But this is probably the most sustained fan discontent he’s faced in his career.

Does he even really get it though. I feel like he is in such a bubble surrounded by yes men he has no idea how disliked he is.

I suggest two fingers of Woodford Reserve.

It's going to be a four finger beating from Purdon't I fear though.  Two fingers won't cover the drowning of sorrow and shame LOL.

That might cover the first 10 minutes the game will be out of reach by then, still another 30 to sit through unless they decide to institute a mercy rule.

I can actually watch this one. I'll be locked and loaded bourbon and zombie dust. I just don't want to have to do a shot every time purdue makes a three.

Pssssh...

For this impending debacle? I just picked up this bottle on super-super closeout for $18.50 and it's 125 proof:Benchmark Full Proof Bourbon 750ml - Luekens Wine & Spirits

It could be one of those 'dull the pain' games.

So finally caught up with this thread and when reading all the post it make my mind wonder.  I decided to Google "Mike Woodson after a Knick's lost.  I clicked on the below article.

https://www.espn.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/9956861/coach-mike-woodson-rips-new-york-knicks-effort-blowout-loss

The article is from Nov. 10th, 2013.  Below copied and pasted right from the article.  Woody it's been over 11 years and you can't get anyone of the freaking hump so please just give up and quit.

"No. No. Not at all. It's something that will be addressed [in Monday's practice]. It's just unacceptable," the coach said. "It's my job to push them through it and try to get them over the hump. I know we're a better team than what we've shown."

Hilarious!!! Thanks for sharing! You should send that to the press! They’ll get a kick out of that!

Look at it this way, you wouldn't remember when Purdue hits the century mark.
