I used to watch the nba more back then, and his two coaching stints really weren’t as bad as his overall record suggests. He worked for two atrocious organizations at the time. In the NBA you can get some mileage with just roster/star management and guys seemed to like him. He also came in and did better than his predecessors at both places. So he didn’t face a ton of fan abuse. Quite the opposite really. But there’s a reason he didn’t last long at either spot and we’re seeing it. NBA much different.
