I’m with you on that but it was already said Woodson will be back.  Miracles do happen and maybe, just maybe we will see one soon.  If not, that miracle will have to be next year.  I still want Bruce Pearl or any P5 proven coach

No. Coaches contact players agents or players themselves regarding offers to transfer. It's been happening the last few weeks.

So where is the optimism coming from that we could still get a new coach this year?  Money has been paid doesn’t mean new coach correct? Administration let a statement out to retain Woody so after Senior day celebrations, what makes anyone think he won’t be back ?
