Fire Coach Woodson Thread

Recommended Posts

I'm still not convinced they can get rid of him after this season. Georgetown brought Ewing back for a 6th season after going 0-19 in conference. Firing former players is a different animal and why hiring him was beyond stupid. The king knows and why he says he does this job.

Money and program enthusiasm. Unless he gets us back in the top 20 and goes on a run the program is in a purgatory of sorts with the fanbase. I’d like to think attendance perks back up for bigger games but it’s been abysmal by IU standards so far. This is a big factor.

Whether or not the donors are willing to pony up the same NIL money next year is also a probably a huge factor.  Very seriously doubt people are willing to pony up this kind of money again.

Yea, didn't buy us much fun in the Bahamas.  TBD on the rest of the year, but not looking great.

I thought they would get rid of him last year for missing the tourney. Instead they gave him 6 million bucks. Insanity.

If we do worse this year maybe the donors will give him 10,000,000 NIL to help with next year…….

And yes I’m kidding but…..who the hell knows what they might do.

Donors should allocate 100% of their NIL donations to iu football. Woodson doesn’t deserve a penny. Lighting their cash on fire would be a better use than giving it to Woodson. We have a serious person leading IUFB. Time to load up the donations.

Yep. Time to compete with Penn State if we can steal a win there and win all the rest of the our winnable games we could be in the playoffs again next year

Give me Dusty May basketball for the next 20 years with our NIL. His style is built for the NCAA tournament.

I am just heart sick to see him in Michigan colors.  I would love to think we can lure him away.  But I am not sold on that idea. Why would he want to leave a program like Michigan to come to this mess in Bloomington?  The older I get the more I cheer for coaches instead of teams. I will be pulling for him at Michigan (except when they play IU of course).

I read up a little on McCollum.  Seems like a nice fall back option if we cannot lure Stevens or May to Bloomington.

It wouldn't be a mess for long if May took control with our resources.
