That we played a B1G game -- at home, no less -- and shot 9 free throws.

I have really wanted this Woody thing to work, but it is just is not going to.  Sadly we will be looking for another coach to come in and provide us all some hope.  There is no way this is a tournament team this year.  The only question left to answer is if they will give him one more year or move on after this year.

Really just truly feel tonight was for the most part where we are. In other words the refs sucked but purdue is just far better than us. We needed a bunch to go right and enough didn't. Really sad time to be a fan.

Edey was ranked 436 best player in the nation coming out of HS. Painter has developed him into the best player in college bball for 2 consecutive years. I'd say that is a sign of a good coach. Not to mention the countless other players he has developed over the past decade. Who would you rather have as your HC, Painter or Woody? I think the answer is pretty obvious.

Truth.  I don’t even think the refs really mattered.  PU is just light years ahead at nearly every position, including bench.  Won’t end soon either.
