I don't think my former coach would have interest.  I might be able to find a former player, it was a small 2A barely above the 1A cutoff but IU clearly isn't being serious so why not.

I am actually really intrigued by the idea of Randle El.  But I would prefer a guy with head coaching experience.   

Herman would be my preference from the names I have heard so far.  But we have to do better than Mike Freaking Hart.

It's gotta be Lewis or Herman -- and that'll determine the trajectory of our hoops program as well. 

If it's Herman, when Woody is ready to hang up the whistle in a few years -- we just go back to FAU for Dusty May. We have the FAU connection leading our top two programs. 

If it's Lewis, when Woody is ready to hang up the whistle in a few years -- we go up to Muncie for Michael Lewis. We have the Lewis brothers leading our top two programs.

Interviewing isn't bad. Hiring Mike hart probably is. Let's wait and see what happens. I would say if they don't get this right iu football may never recover

I like Mike Hart. We turned into Running Back U when he was here, and Michigan is 24-1 since hiring him and turning into a run first team. With that being said, I would not want him as a head coach in any way. That would be an all time bad decision.

But how many guys have said no to where we're at the point Mike Hart is being interviewed. At least that's the way I'm looking at it, for Dolson's sake I hope. If Mike Hart is hired, Dolson should have to personally pay Mike Hart's buyout out of his own pocket on his way out.
