I'm all aboard the Chadwell train. I love him and his offense is awesome. We'll never recruit at a top tier level in the B1G so we need to be a bit gimmicky on offense. The type of guy I doubt we could land, but I'd be ecstatic.

Would love this, reportedly makes $4M/year and has a $4M buyout this offseason. Do it, Scott

Hard pass.

Yeah I'd rather just roll with Fuente.

I have a lot of trouble seeing this as a realistic option, but it is a very specific scenario lol.

I will be the first to admit I don't know much about Martin, but his body of work is interesting.  Exceptional performance at the D2 level w/multiple championships and a bit of mixed bag in MAC w/three division titles scattered in b/w a few clunker season.  Before taking the gig in Oxford he was with the Notre Dame staff for four years as well.

Net, he wouldn't be my first choice if I am Dolson but there is some intrigue. I wonder if this interest is hypothetically inspired by Kalen DeBoer's track record and current success?

I could definitely live with Fuente.

Not a terribly sexy hire or one I'd be overly enthusiastic about initially, but he had a good thing going at Memphis before landing at VTech.

He was reportedly pretty hamstrung with the AD at Tech, so there may be a reason he fizzled out a bit. If it was the case, he likely has a huge chip on his shoulder with a lot to prove.

And the top high school coaches??  Actually, kinda already tried that.

Around a 27 win 16 loss record at high school level as head coach.  and some defensive coordinator success and a no bowl win, good Covid season with players interrupting post game regular season interview on regional/national tv after a win = seems like $27,000,000 contract extension should buy more than that.

Thanks for doing this. It would be interesting to another list or a poll like:

1. Those most likely to consider IU
2. Who forum subscribers want.

If we’re going the MAC route (be cooler if we didn’t) I’m probably going Chris Creighton. Has made a respectable program out of what is basically the Indiana of that conference. Really tough job. He has taken them to 5 of the 7 bowls in their 130 year history.

Who knows if this is legit or not, but Football Scoop does get "scoops". Seems like a weirder hire but I don't really know the ins and outs of these guys as far as x's and o's, recruiting, fundraising, putting together a staff, etc. There's a lot of stuff that goes into building and maintaining a college FB program.
