This included stadium seating with cup holders! Also showed premium seating in various spots in the stadium and asked about price points for all the stuff. Also showed off a cool sports bar setting in stadium or a club area to hang out in before, during, and after games. They showed pictures from all across the NCAA and what other programs have done. It was clear they put some solid thought into what could be done to improve the fan experience, including upping the food options, so hopefully that same approach is being taken on the program side. Sounds a lot like "style over substance". If you really want to upgrade the fan experience, playing better football will do that. AZ Hoosier, IU - Kaulie, iuthruandthru and 1 other 2 2 Quote
GoIU8 Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 If it were to be Matt Campbell, it would mean paying his buyout, correct? It's only 4 million, which would be the rest of the 20 million initially owed to Allen, and Campbell currently makes less than Allen did. Doubtful it would happen, but the chance is there. Best case scenario would be this: "I had a great time at the Indiana football game! They've really upgraded the stadium; parking was easy, the food was delicious (I had wings at the Buffalouie's indoor/outdoor patio and Brown County craft brews), the seats were comfortable, and the new concourse and tech systems made it feel like I was at a super high-end event. And the team played great! They had the same level of talent as Purdooo, but the Hoosiers were so imaginative, penalty-free, and connected that they absolutely stomped them. When we ran that triple-Lindy play to perfection for the early touchdown the place went nuts. And no flag on that play! We got an early lead and never looked back; it felt like there was no way we would screw it up. It was partly because of the full house that was there for the party; that crowd completely unnerved purdud." thebigweave, 8bucks, NVFalcons1990 and 3 others 6 Quote
ap2345 Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 It sounds like Carey, Frye, Candle, Chryst, Lewis, and Silverfield have gotten or scheduled interviews so far. Chris007 1 Quote

I think we would have to up his pay a little but I would at least make him say no. Yeah 100% and good points. I thought Campbell should have taken Tennessee when he had the chance, but Heupel can coach. Quote

Wild that annoyed fans, although, I don't really think it did, same with Crean and his "unbearable" clapping lol How awful of a message it was... to love each other. Quote

Chris007 Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Let's add Rod Carey, Ryan Silverfield, and Sean Lewis to the list of interviews and say that Herman might get one and take off Curt Cignetti. This is from Matt Weaver. His list is a little different from what I'm hearing but I'm guessing he is close to the situation. I was told Herman would get one. I have not heard anything about Carey. Don't know much about Silverfield or Lewis. Quote
