Can anyone recall a more pathetic showing in the past 10-20 years? Arguably a top 3 or 5 embarrassing game for the program since the turn of the century...

That Syracuse tournament game was pretty pathetic under Crean and last year in tourney to Saint Mary’s was just as bad.

However, I think you are correct….we can’t get much worse than this 6-7 game stretch

When he was hired there were stories of him being stubborn and ignoring the advice of assistants as an NBA HC.

Things are certainly imploding but on a podcast prior to the season I heard Kenya Hunter say (unsolicited) that he had never worked for a head coach that gave him as much of a “voice, and listened to him to the degree, that Woodson did.

I told my boss that her idea was great and would surely not waste everybodies time.  People say things about/to their bosses all the time

I do feel sorry for TJD.  He's had some monster games but at this point he's playing hurt, playing more minutes than he probably is capable of, and isn't get much help.  For his future, he might want to shut it down for the year given his back.  Would love to think we could recover but I don't see it.

When the smoke clears, I can't see Woodson being around next year.  Hope that JHS and Reneau stay, but who knows.  Really hope that Galloway finishes his career at Indiana and IU's success matches the effort he puts out individually.

Gut feeling says Reneau transfers.

I said all along that if we wanted an IU guy we should have gone with Fife. We know fife and Woodson clashed. We know Woodson isn’t cut out for the job. There’s a decent chance fife was trying to help him

Hire Dusty May. If we want an IU guy he might be our best bet.

Win does IU men’s basketball ask some of these teams if they can get out contract schedule similar to IU football vs Louisville to play weaker teams???

Purdue 2 games scoring 170.  IU 140.

Average margin of Purdue victory for 2023 regular season = 15

Big ten tournament Purdue 80.  IU 65

and 3 losses to Purdue in 2023.

It just me or Woodson not even listening to assistants at the moment?

Nevermind looked like he was tuning guys out for a sec

Assistants are there to recruit and work out with the players. They’ll come up with a Scout, not sure how much Woodson relies on them fully on that however.

Fisch actually questioned Woodson with it looks like our guys have given up. Woodson hesitated then gave some bs answer about playing in spurts lol. I have been listening to fisch for years and by listening to his coaches interview this is as disappointed he has possibly ever been imo

That’s actually kind of sad.

Hindsight is always 20/20 but Fife clearly should have been the hire if we wanted an IU guy due to his age and the fact he's still hungry in his early years of coaching.

Woodson was freakin 63 when we hired him. Probably took the job to pad his retirement account.

He should be listening to them since he doesn’t know the college game like at all
