I wouldn't be at all shocked if Reneau, Duncomb, and Banks leave after this year.  We have 0 bigs coming in and 2 players that I think will need time to adjust to the college game.  We've missed on some of higher ranked targets for next year and we don't know what how transfer portal will look.

This year is a train wreck, next year could be an absolute disaster.

I'm starting to believe that Woodson was a 3-4 year stop gap after Stevens said no, and Oats, Musselman, etc refused to entertain the idea of coaching in this league.

Dolson wanted somebody to keep us competitive for a while, in the meantime other coaches would prove themselves for us to consider down the road.

Woodson was a stop gap.  Bring us some consistency and get us back to the winning culture of yesteryear. He’s floundering and it’s blowing up.

Trying to find some humor here. My wife and I have been giving some serious consideration to moving to Europe. There are plenty of obstacles standing in our way but none that can't be overcome. But since last night I can't stop laughing at the fact that one my reasons to stay (though it would never be a deciding factor) was IU hoops. I'm fine not being able to follow any of my other American sports teams. But it's been agonizing to think about not being able to sit down and watch Indiana basketball. At this rate they might be turning in to a catalyst FOR the move. Being forced to not follow doesn't sound so bad right now.

Duncomb for sure, his grandma was on twitter last night calling out Woodson. I think we will have NIL money to keep the other two. I'm one who is ready to see what happens when we can play without TJD, Race, X and definitely Kopp

Well right now our excuse from many sunshine pumpers is that we are missing XJ and Race... But what happens next year without those two and TJD? If we suck without just those two how are we going to get any better without those 3?

My philosophy is if we suck now, go young and try to find something to build on. The older players are not listening anymore

Then hopefully we can get a solid big from the portal.  They don't need to be dominant but someone athletic that can rebound and protect the rim; game is more perimeter oriented now but cannot have just one big.

I have zero trust in Woody to do something that resembles an intelligent and self aware coach. Because he is neither of those things.

I would've started Reneau against NW and gave him a shot, he's struggled for a while now but I had no faith in the alternatives.

I'd be be tempted to start Banks over Kopp now, if what you said actually happened.  Doesn't say much for Banks that he's in the bench no matter how much the other struggle, but those actions have to be punished.

At this point it doesn't matter if what happened in the NW game is true or not. As I said last night in the game thread, MK appears to be a headcase now. You take the NW situation, look at the Instagram comments (MK was really the only one taking shots at people), his in game demeanor, his lack of defense and shot attempts, you have to bench him. This is becoming a distraction, which this team needs no part of.

Players telling coaches to F off is becoming more common in college and high school. I’ve personally seen it happen 3-4 times in high school recently and a family member was at the UK Bama game and said UK players got in coaches faces on more than one occasion.

Not saying HS kids should get a pass for it (they should get a swift kick in the attitudes so they don’t turn into Miller Kopp), but college players, especially upperclassmen, have zero excuses and much higher expectations to conduct themselves as men. Maybe Kopp has yet to realize this but he’s soon to enter REAL adulthood. He’s needs to quit acting like a boy and get over himself before he ends up somewhere that doesn’t give a crap if he played big ten basketball and puts the hammer on him faster than he can log on to his instagram.

I think that Miller Kopp cannot get his own shot or contain straight line drives, but if he told an assistant to f-off during the heat of battle? I'm not very bothered by that at all.
