Little early for a game thread but some comments from Woody's radio show earlier tonight.

Mike Woodson on Indiana’s slow starts: “We’re gonna have to shake the lineup up a little bit, probably, to see if that works… it happens, and somehow I’ve got to make the adjustments.”

Mike Woodson says without Xavier Johnson, the plan is to start Tamar Bates and bring Trey Galloway in off the bench.

..."only time will tell" when Xavier Johnson will be healthy and ready to go. Said Johnson is in a great mood and staying positive.  Xavier Johnson was the only player that did not go home for the holidays and that Xavier and his mother had Christmas dinner with Woodson's family.

Woodson on Indiana's defense this year: "I think we've had our spurts and moments when we have been great....When you look at the stats, we've been good." "I think the area that we have have struggled is in rebounding...as big as we are, we should be better."  "The rebounding is staggering to me because I just think as big a team as we are, we should be a better rebounding team. Woodson said that Trayce Jackson-Davis practiced today. "I thought he had a very productive day. We will see how he feels tomorrow."  Woodson says Logan Duncomb and Malik Reneau need to be ready for the “what if” scenarios.

With Tamar and JHS as the starting backcourt we get to see how the two 5*'s handle the big ten. It is definitely the most talented backcourt we have had in some time, but that in no way means more wins.

Here's to hoping that it does though! 9 games in 26 days, buckle up.

Affects our game against Iowa, but more importantly good for him for pulling back from the spotlight if it’s not working for him.

Patrick McCaffery out, starting forward. Hope he gets help with the anxiety. Had some good games like Wisconsin 24pts. Will be a loss.

Hopefully he gets through this because she has been through a lot in his life already. He has over come cancer when he is a teenager

No idea, I found it off the Iowa Board, looks like their 6’10 275 Center has been injury for a bit and Connor McCaffery has been dealing with wrist issues

Big news with Patrick McCaffrey. He’s a really good player. I strongly dislike his father but I wish every kid happiness and success. I hope he gets things straightened out. Talented.

Looked at the box score from the BTT against Iowa and P. McCafferty had a good game with 16. They also are missing two other double figure scorers from that game Murray 32 and Bohhanon with 12
