Gonna have to come up with more adjectives to describe how bad we are I’ve exhausted all that I know……

Kansas is good. Kansas played pretty well. And yet IU could’ve competed with adequate defensive effort and basic offensive execution (limiting insane TOs, converting at the rim). Concerning, and yet if X’s health is okay, this team could eventually turn it around.

So that’s what I’m looking for: X’s health, limiting self-lacerating decisions, and effort.

We should just take Grinnell College’s tact when it comes to recruiting. Just get guys who can shoot, and take nothing but 3s all game.

It's a bitter pill to swallow because it appears this will be our most talented team for the next 2 years or so.

Purdue, MSU, Maryland, Illinois and Wisconsin are better than us.  
 

Iowa, OSU and Rutgers are better than the current team on the floor.   
 

If I had to bet I’d peg us 5th and 9 or 10 seed. But the team on the floor now probably finishes 9th in the B1G. The team from the xavier game could finish 2nd or 3rd.  
 

Either way it’s entirely possible we miss the tourney. I might bet on it if I got 11/2 odds.

Kansas isn’t a very good team. I mean they’re okay but we aren’t overmatched at any position. We just can’t shoot and we aren’t coached very well. That’s why we suck.

Purdue recruits guys who can shoot and are good, smart basketball players — and takes care of the rest once they arrive. 
 

We recruit guys who can run and jump, but aren’t good basketball players. We hope at some time, they’ll learn how to shoot and play the game — but they rarely do.
