Is this a serious question?

Oklahoma football > Indiana basketball by a lot (in the last 25 years) ... truthfully overall, as well.

Oklahoma is on a downhill trajectory going into the SEC. Lincoln Riley left, the offensive firepower and genius of Stoops and Riley are gone. Oklahoma ain't gonna be the Oklahoma we've witnessed. You're gonna see a program that goes downhill the same Louisville, Syracuse, Pitt have in basketball. If Oklahoma we're staying in the Big 12, their future would be brighter, but they are going to struggle in the SEC.

I don't agree. I think they will be the 3rd or 4th best program in the SEC.

Either way.. you said "why would anyone want to go there" --- well it's one of the best 5 or 6 programs in the country.

Bluntly:  Oklahoma football next to worst era, history including currently is better than IU football best era, history including currently.  Not even a contest.  On 2 different planets.

Dasan likely won’t even be at Oklahoma when they move to the SEC, so that couldn’t matter less. He’s going to play for a defensive mastermind that probably has a more clear plan for him than “go wreck s**t, we got no one else”.

Edit: Oh, and the 6 figure pay raise won’t hurt.

Growing up in the 70's and 80's Oklahoma was always one of the top 1-5 programs in the country

Right now Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, Ohio State, USC, LSU, Clemson... All way better trajectories than Oklahoma at this point. Oklahoma wasn't good this year. And it isn't like they weren't talented.

Soooooo.... 8th? Cannot imagine why a kid would go there to play!

I'm willing to bet their NIL deal at OK was pretty decent.

Still nothing on Lucas, correct?

It might be an underrated selling point for CTA to be able to pitch, “Jaylin, you’re the best kick returner in the country. And I can guarantee that no school will be returning more kickoffs next year than Indiana!”

That is a better way of saying "the defense won't stop anyone, so work on your conditioning"

Pretty certain he's staying.
