Kopp better control himself on those inbound passes. He could very easily get called for traveling.

One could argue that would be better than what he just did. At least then they wouldn't be able to run the other way and try and score

What about this idea: swap one of the guys in those pairings. Add a younger more athletic wing like Geronimo/Bates to the first group and a more mature slower paced Kopp to the second group. Most of the run Geronimo/Bates got was with two freshman and Trey Galloway on the floor. I’m not a fan of the five guys in five guys out first and second units. Mix and match it a bit. Find a combo that works.

Geronimo minimally provides good interior D and rebounding, and energy.
Bates wasn’t on 1st half doesn’t mean he won’t be in the 2d, Kopp is not scoring and his D is absolutely lacking, and Race wad just off.

Ren  got 2 quick fouls, questionable, but not surprising, he was fouling against inferior bigs, reality check as good as he is this is a big step up and he’s a frosh, he’s going to go through learning not to foul better, experienced front court college players. But we need him offensively
