IU Scott Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 If it were 20 years ago I would d be the Steve Alford of this team but a knee surgery and 30 pounds later not so much anymore. Banksyrules 1 Quote
Stromboli Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I’ll run some stairs and shuttle sprints after the loss. I think WayneFleek’s 118-18 is pretty close. We’d only get the ball after they scored. thebigweave, Joe_hoopsier, Dave from Dayton and 2 others 5 Quote
lillurk Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I used to play in a 2x/week pickup run where I was the only regular who hadn’t been a college athlete (mostly hoopers, some former footballers). I’m 6’, still roughly in my athletic prime of life though not in the shape I wish. Not much of a scorer but in said run I always marked one of of the opposition’s two best perimeter players. I’m a 3-and-D wing with enough playmaking to attack a close out. I’d gladly play but we’re gonna get skunked. Stuhoo and Banksyrules 2 Quote

Was a 15ppg scorer in intramurals at the Hyper. That was a thousand years and an ACL replacement ago. I play with my 15 year at the nearby city park now and then. My role is to screen for him and pass out the post. I have turned into a small Joey Brunk…good lord. you must gave been a Sigma Nu or Evans scholar, those dudes always had good teams in the 80's. lillurk 1 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 My eyesight and hearing aren't great. I never played organized basketball or dribbled a basketball on the IU campus. But I never let the facts interfere with my decision making. So I can be a referee if someone provides incentives. lillurk, BannerVille, thebigweave and 2 others 3 2 Quote

Banksyrules Posted April 11, 2022 Author Posted April 11, 2022 Guys I think we’re overlooking how pathetic we’ll look and draw a ton of fouls. And I think we can beat them in the free throw line….. IU team -122- us-36… beat the spread. BannerVille and Loaded Chicken Sandwich 2 Quote
