Demo Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 If you have NFHS, McNeeley and Queen playing tonight. Fair to assume it will be a beating. Joe_hoopsier and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

And the thing is, this isn’t the worst high school team in the world. These guys just happen to be cannon fodder for the best high school team in the world. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 14, 2023 Author Posted November 14, 2023 In a nail biter, MVA eked out a 118-28 win over South Lake. If only our Hoosiers could play as cohesively as the MVA team. I scored Liam with 20p on 7-9 FG; 4-6 on 3s and 2-2 FT. So smooth. Stuhoo, ALASKA HOOSIER, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote

The Hysterics are a bit cringey in this one, but Liam is not. He is completely all in and is clearly tuned in to what makes IUBB special. The kid is calm and mature, except for when he tries to describe just how much he is looking forward to being in Bloomington. go iu bb, Demo, HoosierHoops1 and 4 others 6 1 Quote

If you had a dollar for every time we start with some derivation of “The Hysterics were a bit cringey….” you’d have that Battle for Atlantis trip covered. With the four part RMK memorial interview series they were zero cringey. Really did a nice job. It seems that they have much more trouble acting like adults when interviewing da youts. Demo Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I guess they’re trying to make Montverde’s game tonight a little more interesting by spotting the opponent a couple of points. go iu bb, ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierHoops1 and 3 others 1 5 Quote

This team has a couple of kids who are legit D-1 types. 39-22 at halftime. McNeeley with 6. Hasn’t shot great, but floor game has been impeccable. The kid can really play. lillurk, Hovadipo, HoosierHoops1 and 1 other 4 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 Definirely a much higher caliber of opponent but Montverde defeated Huntsville (AL) 78-51. Rough shooting night for Liam finishing with only 6p and just 1-6 on 3s. But he added 6r; 4a; 1b. Queen 12p; 3r; 5a; 1s. Both played approximately 20 min. Noticed it in the rout the other night and again tonight that when Liam isn't in the game he's a great bench cheerleader. lillurk, Demo and thebigweave 3 Quote
