Yeah, but when the brick hits the backboard and kareens out to the foul line, it's a little tough for our bigs under the basket to get the rebound.

But we do need more than 2 guys trying to rebound.

Definitely bounces playing a big part in the offensive rebounds allowed against Louisiana and against St John, just overall need to figure out how to limit second chances. Can't allow that type of number against the Big10 teams or a Purdue team with Williams and Edey.

I’m impressed.

this is a team that is projected to win the Sun Belt this year.

Yes.  They'll probably dominate down low against other Sun Belt teams.  Right now their big men look totally perplexed to have to play against our bigs.

I'm looking forward to seeing Parker Stewart this half.  He looked in rhythm for the first time in the first half.

On Lander, exactly what I’ve been looking forward to seeing —

Reins off, gets the minutes, gets to show all the talent he has now with a college body and experience gained.

tonight so far:

6 pts (2-2), 4 assists, 2 steals, 3 boards, in 13 min - 3 TO’s still an issue but 4 assists- game experience and in game coaching will get him there

Just saw this --

Khristian Lander played 13 minutes all season before tonight.

He played the final 13 minutes of the first half tonight.

6 PTS, 4 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL, 2 TO, +13

ESPN has him at 3 turnovers (and I'll geek myself out.....I have him with three also....I keep stats as the game goes on or I can't control my temper normally, LOL).  But yes, definitely a very nice half.
