Reported that he is visiting this week. Was destined for the now-folded Ignite.

Would be a very high ceiling, semi-developmental freshman. Borderline 5 star 6'7" wing. Athlete, some guard skills.

Where was this reported at? I’ve only seen a few iu burner accounts tweet about it. I know it happened but have any legit accounts tweeted about it?

There have been visitors this week but they have been unnamed by mainstream sources. Multiple burner accounts say Tucker and Blazi are part of the guest list. Take it for what it's worth.

It's funny, Woody created his own media team via twitter.  His burner accounts actually got the juice lately, but I don't find it a great long term solution to be at odds and circumvent it's normal media teams.

I can't find a lot of videos on this kid. He scored on quite a bit of mid-post actions in the videos I saw....

I didn't see a "sure-fire Power 5 starter" from the videos, but who knows.

This would be a fairly shocking turn. Before the Ignite stuff came up he looked to be an absolute done deal to Mich St. Clearly Izzo has moved on.

What is Ignite stuff?

NBA is shuttering the G League Ignite team. NIL basically killed it: the goal was primarily to give prospects a place to earn $ during the year between HS graduation and draft eligibility without having to go overseas. But they’ve had a miserable year on the court and NIL basically nullifies most of its original purpose.

From what I read, Bryson is athletic with a mid-range game.  Almost sounds like a Romeo Langford in the description of his game.

If you have NFHS you can probably find several archived Bishop O’Connell games from this season. Almost all of the DMV schools are on the network. I was able to watch a bunch of his Soph year games after he was originally offered because Mt St Joseph’s was part of the network.

Does he do his ranking justice, and does he play with some D1 'plug-in as a freshman' maturity?

Not saying he’s as good as this at all, but his game has some similarities to what Jayson Tatum’s looked like in HS. He’s got top shelf footwork. He can face up in the mid-range and create space or he can drive it and finish. He has the same sort of patience. Even has a similar backward lean to his jumper. Potentially he’s a nasty matchup. 2 things I’d question without having seen him recently: 1) He was super oriented to his own offense and he liked to play with the ball. Curious how comfortably he blends with other good players. Would love to see a couple of his IMG games. 2) His on-court demeanor bothered me, but didn’t seem to bother his teammates or coaches at all. He would bark at guys constantly. Coaches, players, refs. And yet, absolutely no one seemed to care, even a little. Maybe there’s just some “Bryson being Bryson” to him and the people around him all the time know he’s harmless. And it didn’t seem to affect his play at all, it was just kind of odd.

I would love to have an IUBB player that barks at his teammates; just not sure I want it to be a freshman.
