Hoosierfan2017 Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 I had thought about going to this game as it’s only 3 hours away from me, but I wanted to wait and see how we looked early in the season before committing.. Decided not to spend several hundred bucks on what seemed to be a potential blowout. Anyway, this is basically the worst way for the game to start for us. Our offense isn’t good enough to climb out of an early hole, so we needed the defense to stay strong. They helped with the INT but unfortunately the offense couldn’t capitalize. Quote

Bring over talented athletes from other sports because we couldn’t recruit anyone. First down rush up the gut, pick up 2-3 yards, 2nd and 7-8, repeat. Minimal rolling Penix out of the pocket even though he’s better when he’s on the move. Zachetology 1 Quote

He definitely was doing better in the TD/Int area. Consistency was a problem. This year though... Too often it seems he's just chucking it into random areas half the time. Throws a lot at the ground.
